Hi Adecco Consultants!
Here is updated information about policies linked to the Corona virus:
Employees who may have been exposed to coronavirus?
If you have been traveling and may have been exposed to coronavirus, you have an obligation to tell the employer before returning to work, according to the Infection Protection Act. There is now a national information number to call to ask general questions about Covid-19:
Our recommendation is to follow developments and keep up to date on Krisinformation.se.
If you as an employee feel concern, we also refer to 1177 Care Guide.
The same applies to those exposed to coronavirus through contact with close relatives who have been found to be carrying the infection. You as a consultant have Adecco as an employer even if you are on a contract with a customer. Therefore, you should contact both Adecco and the customer you are hired to.
The employee who is ill must report sickness to his or her employer and receive sick pay and sickness benefit as with any other illness. You must also report illness to Euroaccident. Just as usual.
– The rules on infectious childbirth allowance mean that you have been found to carry infections, but are not ill, and are not allowed to come to the workplace can apply for infectious childbirth benefits at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. Read more about Infant Carrier Benefits in the Employer’s Guide.
– Regarding compensation for the benefit deduction, the employee can apply afterwards for compensation from the Social Insurance Agency for the first day of sickness occurring between the 11th of March and the 31st of May. For more information on how to apply see the Social Insurance Agency’s website.
– We refer you to the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan) for information on sick certificates.
If something new comes in, it is also communicated to your consultants at Indecco and InMode.
The Public Health Agency?
The Public Health Authority is the responsible state authority in matters of infection protection. The recommendations from the Public Health Authority are that anyone who has no symptoms of illness can work as usual. The authority’s website has questions and answers about coronavirus covid-19.
Ultimately, it is the customer where you work who decides which measures are appropriate to take in the business. Make sure you are invited to Corona’s information forum at the customer where you have your workplace. As an Adecco consultant, you must FOLLOW CUSTOMER GUIDELINES.
Are you unclear as to what applies and lack clear guidelines? Then contact your manager at Adecco.
We will update Indecco regarding the situation with Corona as soon as there is something relevant to tell you. As soon as it is an update, we will make a note with the actual date. If the date is not actual, the latest guidelines apply. Make sure you regularly visit Indecco for up-to-date information. We also want to remind you that it is the customer’s guidelines that apply, for you on an assignment.
Thank you for the fantastic work you do every day!
